Nearly every all-motor coach tour we offer is conducted aboard Hawkeye Stages’ extended leg room coaches.  Most motor coaches have 55, 56 or even 58 seats (in the same size coach body).  We have a maximum of 52 (and usually sell only 48 of those) to ensure maximum comfort for you.  You’ll notice the difference!  (And your knees will thank us.)

Destination Dollars

It’s what you get for being our customer!  Every time you travel on one of our public coach tours of two days or longer you earn rewards redeemable for future travel.  Our new program is simpler than ever.  NO sign up required.  NO mileage to track.  Just travel and save.  What could be easier?

Free Indoor Parking

Park indoors at no charge, at our Fort Dodge facility (and soon at our new Des Moines facility!) on any tour of 2 days or longer.  We’ll keep your car under roof while you’re gone so you don’t have to worry about the weather.   

Complimentary Pre-departure Hotel

If your town is outside a 50-mile radius of our nearest pick-up point, you may qualify for complimentary lodging for the night prior to departure.  This feature is available on tours of 6 days or longer.  We also have special arrangements with a number of hotels so anyone can stay the night prior to departure on any tour, at a reduced rate.  Just book your room through us.

Peace of Mind Protection

We hope nothing disrupts your travel plans but if it does, you have “peace of mind” in knowing you are protected with our cancellation fees waiver.

Who knows our attractions, hotels and restaurants better than our tour managers, who travel with you to take care of all the details!  At NorthLand, our tour managers plan most of the travel packages.  As if you needed more assurance of our planning expertise, this gives you extra confidence that your trip will be well-planned.

More value, more experiences

Where many tour companies get you to a destination then sell you lots of optional (extra cost) excursions, NorthLand Travel includes more in your main travel pacakge.  We don't believe in "drive-by" sightseeing or making you buy a bunch of options on our domestic travel packages.
